Will there be a Consultation?
Prior to the start of your first session, you will be asked to complete an online consultation form. It is important to fill it as accurately as possible so that I can gain an accurate picture of your health and lifestyle and to ensure that there are no contraindications and that we can proceed with the session. This will be accompanied with an informal chat about your individual needs and discussion about how these can be met during the session.
Please allow an extra 10-15 minutes for your first session to go over the consultation form. Subsequent sessions will not require any further consultation forms to be filled out, just a chat beforehand about any changes in health and requirements for the session.
What do I wear for Reflexology?
If you are coming for a reflexology session, please wear loose trousers as some leg massage is done from the knee downwards.
Otherwise please wear comfortable clothing. Please note that there may be some transfer of oil or wax onto your clothing which happens occasionally although I will try to minimise the chances of this happening, so you may wish to avoid wearing brand new clothes!
For facial Reflexology, please come without heavy makeup to get the best from the session.
What do I need to do after the session?
To get maximum benefit from your complementary therapy session, it is advisable that you drink plenty of water in the 24 hours following the session. Also, it is best to avoid alcohol, smoking and to minimise caffeine consumption if possible. Also, I recommend that you relax as much as possible and avoid heavy meals in the few hours after the session has ended.

How will I feel after the session?

It has also been known for certain people to very occasionally suffer an adverse reaction, which may be a heightened, but temporary, worsening of symptoms, or the appearance of new symptoms. This is usually followed by an improvement in the condition. This is a sign that the body is responding to treatment and is part of the body’s natural healing process.
Some of the common reactions to treatment include headaches, tiredness, vivid dreams, increase in urination, temporary worsening of symptoms, heightened emotional state – tearful, sad, elated
This is quite normal and is a positive reaction to the treatment as toxins are released from the body as the body works to heal itself. After effects can be reduced or eliminated if you follow the advice mentioned above, and usually disappear after a day or two. If you have any concerns, please contact me.
What products do you use?
I use Flying Wild reflexology creams and Tropic products for facials. Please advise if you have any allergies. The creams are pre-blended with essential oils and come in various combinations so there is always a blend to suit your particular needs.
Vegan options are available upon request.
How do I pay for my session?
You can pay by cash, card or BACS.
What happens to my data?
Your data will be kept stored securely according to the new GDPR guidelines and will not be used for any other purpose. Please refer to the GDPR and privacy policy here for more details
Do you have a Cancellation Policy?
At the moment I don’t ask for a deposit to secure your booking, but as a small business, last minute cancellations can be costly. This is why I have had to implement a Cancellation Policy.
if you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment for any reason please give as much notice as possible. I will endeavour to reschedule at a mutually convenient time. However, If you cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment, we will ask for 100% of the session cost to be paid.
Furthermore, if a client cancels more than once at extremely short notice then a 50% deposit may be requested in advance for future bookings. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
Also, in the unlikely event when your appointment needs to be cancelled or rescheduled for whatever reason, every effort will be made to give 24 hours minimum advance notice and to ensure that the appointment is rescheduled at a mutually convenient time.
